What is King Kang Comics? Before I started Slack Wyrm regularly, I had a few different ideas going. One of them was KKC. The idea was to poke fun at my home, Australia; its people, culture, and sensitivities. Basically to stick it to the place in a loving but poignant way. Yet as I did a few, I saw you had to be Australian to get a lot of the jokes and references. I also realised doing jokes about convicts, the Queen, Aboriginals, Anzacs, and Aussie sports might trigger all those sensitive types who are sadly prevalent in Oz today. Plus Aussies aren't that big on comics, and don't really seek them out anyway. Anyhow, it turns out dragons are way more popular than kangaroos ;)
